Nanwalek Sugpiag Dancers

 

The Nanwalek Dancers, from Nanwalek Alaska, have been together for many years. Their group leaders are Sperry Ash and Lisa Jimmy. A new musician, Sperry Moonin Sr., will be playing the accordian which is usually played with the guitar players during masking time. The dancers in the group are Lisa Jimmy, Sperry Ash, Rhoda Moonin, Sevgay Moonin, Sebastian Demas and Sally Ash. Leo Ash plays guitar. This is a return trip for the group to Cama'i.

Nawalek Sugpiaq Dancers will perform Friday at 9:10 p.m., Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 5:00 p.m. You can also meet them Up Close and Personal on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Room C15.
